      what chu like in yours?

      do you like to drink the soup after you are done eating?

      what kind of 'soup' do you like for your steamboat?

      do you use dipping sauces for steamboat?
      what kind?

      for home hor....ill like normal chicken stock. den yeah...ill drink it!. den sauce will be sambal belachan with some soy sauce.

      for outside. it will be ma la soup. dip de sauce will be peanut sauce! =)

      home made sauces. solid i tell u.

      i never eat steamboat outside. eat at home can follow my own pace.

      erm, normal soup base lor, the ingredients will make the soup potent. no need simi tom yam or miso.

      actually i dun care much about the soup base... my fav so far is sharkfin base...

      but what we care is what is inside instead of the soup right?

      The best part of steamboat is aft the steamboat.

      The soup is the best. No matter wad soup base. icon_biggrin.gif

      all the taste of the prawns, crabs, abalone merge wif the soup.. shiok ar!!

      When eating steamboat i usually wont join in the dinner so fast, will wait for awhile before tucking in.

      lol... den got the saliva of everyone...
      the meat ball bite once realise got ice inside, den recook again..
      while people eating they talk, den chunks from their mouth drop bakc into the pot =X

      Hmm, so far nvr encountered tht prob.

      But i think its better then drinking hot plain soup.

      list of things i love in steamboat...

      1) fishballs

      2) fish dumpling (hur kiao)

      3) pig liver

      4) prawns

      5) crabs

      6) tang orh (vege)

      7) fiah maw (hur pio)

      9) scallops

      10) abalone

      11) pacific clams

       

      sauces - at home balachan and soy sauce (in the soup also), outside is the peanut sauce, with oil n chilli

      麻辣火鍋 (Ma La Hotpot) is the best.

      Favourite choice of food:

      • slice beef
      • slice 3 layer pork
      • beef stomache
      • wanton
      • abalone mushroom
      • meat ball
